below : La Gloria Cubana ca 2003. Created for the grand stair at QBA, a Latin Paladar located the The Westin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Distressed columns and arches [above] were also painted by Willy. Blue columns in the Wine Bar [top image] are derived from Cuban cigar labels, lending the space a sexy, romantic ambience. This project has appeared in several SE Asian design magazines.
